Beta Sigma Phi International

Since its’ founding in 1931, Beta Sigma Phi has grown to be an international organization. Beta Sigma Phi is an international women’s friendship network. It was created for young women in search of culture and social activity, and it gives its members an intimate touch with many lives and many minds. Beta Sigma Phi serves as a precious guard against narrowed friendships. It is an enriching and intensifying inspirational experience in the appreciation and enjoyment of the liberal arts.

From seven members in Abilene, Kansas, Beta Sigma Phi has grown to over 200,000 active members in chapters all around the world. Our members are women of all ages, interests, educational and economic backgrounds. We are the largest organization of our kind in the world.

In each degree, the members of Beta Sigma Phi experience ever increasing cultural & educational programs, social, and service opportunities. Through the association with the members of Beta Sigma Phi, all members can expect to enrich their lives culturally and socially, among the friendliest, loveliest-minded, and the most socially respected women in the world - the members of Beta Sigma Phi.

Beta Sigma Phi is sponsored by Walter W. Ross & Co., Inc., which acts as its business representative and guarantees its International financial obligations. Walter W. Ross & Co., Inc., directs the founding of the chapters. It is a corporation organized for profit under the laws of the state of Missouri, and its Board of Directors acts as the Executive Council of Beta Sigma Phi.
